Who We Are and What We Do

LOLS10在线直播下注At the Royal United Hospital, Bath, our aim is to offer the best practice and highest standards of clinical and customer care to our patients.

LOLS10在线直播下注We treat more than 70,000 patients each year covering a wide range of medical and surgical specialties.

LOLS10在线直播下注The Trust occupies a 52 acre site about 1.5 miles from Bath city centre and became a National Health Service Trust in 1992.

LOLS10在线直播下注Patient care and patient safety are at the heart of everything we do and recent results from a number of national healthcare surveys have shown our standards of cleanliness, survival rates and the services we offer our patients, to be very high.

Organisational Structure

The Trust employs over 4,500 staff, some of whom also provide outpatient, diagnostic and day case surgery services at community hospitals in the Bath, Wiltshire and Somerset health community.

The Trust provides approximately 759 beds and a comprehensive range of acute services including emergency and intensive care, elderly care, medical and surgical services, paediatric services and diagnostic and support services for its local population.

LOLS10在线直播下注In addition, it provides a substantial of oncology (cancer) related services, including chemotherapy, and radiotherapy, and specialist orthopaedic surgery.

LOLS10在线直播下注Although the Trust provides neonatal intensive care services, maternity services are provided by Wiltshire Primary Care Trust. Both services are located on-site.
