You're invited to the Royal United Hospital's Annual General Meeting

Members of the public are invited to The Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust's Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 26 September, in the Assembly Rooms, Bath.

The AGM will also combine the Trust's Annual Members' Meeting. Attendees will hear from key speakers on how the Trust has performed – its activities, challenges and achievements over the last financial year. There will be a presentation of the Annual Report and Accounts and the Trust will outline its plans for the year ahead.

Dr Andrea Phillips, Consultant Radiologist and Clinical lead for Radiology, will give details of the Trust's investment in a major improvement programme that is making the Radiology Department among the most modern and best-equipped in the South West. New and upgraded scanners have been installed and waiting areas for patients expanded and refurbished. Dr Phillips and colleagues will also explain the latest advances being used in radiology and their benefits to patients.

Brian Stables, Trust Chairman said: "We're looking forward to seeing many of our Trust members, and members of the public are very welcome to attend as well, so do please come along and invite your friends too.

"It's a good opportunity for you to tell us what you think of the care we deliver and how we can further improve patient, carer or visitor experience. Your feedback will help us to shape our priorities for the year and set strategic goals.
